WEWEARAUSTRALIAN

LEO LIN acknowledges the traditional owners of the land upon which we showcased throughout this campaign, the Menang people of Kurrah Mia, and their surrounding communities. We acknowledge The Menang people's continuing custodianship of our land (Boodja), and the water (kep) and the fire (kaarl)' is something we will now carry with us on our journey of learning. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and young, with particular thanks to Vernice Gilles who welcomed us to the land and shared the voice of her community.

LEO LIN are proud to support Showroom X in their #WeWearAustralian campaign. Born from a vision to reignite the Australian fashion industry during dark times in 2021 post (and during) COVID, #WeWearAustralian has blossomed into one of the largest and most successful displays of Australian fashion in our history.

#WeWearAustralian has always had a sense of commitment and connection to the Australian community, and a vibrant want to support Australian designers. Partnered with Thread Together, every sale via their campaign donates $1 for every style sold.

Shot by Pierre Toussant in Koorabup, Menang Noongar Country at Elephant Rocks, regional Western Australia, the #WeWearAustralian campaign is supported by Tourism Australia, and celebrates the fierce land we call home. LEO LIN’s Rae Bustier Dress in Plum Blossom donned Indigenous Australian, WA-born model Billie-Jean Hamlet.

The Rae Bustier Midi Dress is available to preorder now.
