On Wednesday 28th October, we launched our highly anticipated Resort 27 ‘Sojourn’ collection with an intimate aperitivo hour and runway presentation along the harbourfront promenade at Park Hyatt Sydney, set against the iconic backdrop of the Sydney Opera House.
Guests were treated to champagne, Aperol Spritzes and Hugo Spritzes alongside aperitivo-style bites served on custom plates by In The Roundhouse. They unwound in relaxed lounge settings styled with custom LEO LIN cushions in the exclusive resort print. Each guest received a personalised Resort 27 basket bag filled with custom LEO LIN chocolates, a bespoke keepsake to take home from the event.
“A sojourn isn’t a holiday... it’s something more special,” says Lin. “It’s the kind of trip that stays with you. Where you go somewhere that demands you dress for it.”
The curation showcased on the runway revealed Lin’s most joyful print to date, a novelty print inspired by a sun-drenched gelateria set the tone for the afternoon’s aperitivo hour, whilst craftsmanship remained the star, with hand-embroidered three-dimensional florals constructed petal-by-petal from silk, organza and mother-of-pearl, alongside architecturally layered tiered dresses and skirts and richly embellished tailored separates.
