The Matinée Collection is LEO LIN’s latest cinematic escape where the moody shadows of film noir meet the flirtatious, "je ne sais quoi" spirit of 1960s French cinema.
“I’ve always been captivated by the atmosphere of vintage cinema—the way a single frame can tell an entire story,” says Lin. “With Matinée, we are playing with shadows, light and texture, creating a wardrobe for a woman who is the protagonist of her own beautifully directed life.”
In this collection, craftsmanship takes a starring role, elevating wearable art to a cinematic scale. The drama lives in the details: intricately embellished wool coats, hand-embroidered lace dresses and flowing chiffon gowns.
